On June 11, the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized a video conference on the subject of "Ukraine-Azerbaijan: trade and economic relations in the context of global changes."
Prospects for expanding economic cooperation between the two countries and opportunities to increase trade turnover were discussed during the video conference attended by Azerbaijani and Ukrainian ambassadors and representatives of government agencies and entrepreneurs.
President of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Gennady Chizhikov gave a speech on Ukrainian-Azerbaijani economic relations and emphasized the role of discussions in the video conference in identifying new areas of cooperation between entrepreneurs.
Yusif Abdullayev, acting head of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) gave a speech about the reforms carried out in the country to increase non-oil exports, the promotion of the "Made in Azerbaijan" brand abroad and the work done to promote foreign investment.
Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business (SMB) Development Agency (KOBİA) under the Ministry of Economy Orkhan Mammadov noted the measures taken to develop small and medium businesses in the country, the Agency's activities in this area, as well as opportunities for cooperation of SMB with relevant Ukrainian agencies and businesses.
Further expansion of economic ties, organization of business meetings and other issues were discussed during the video conference. The questions of the participants were addressed.
