· Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) was established in 1948 and provides financing and advisory services in cooperation with the public and private sectors to promote sustainable economic, social and environmental development, reduce poverty, protect natural resources, and strengthen peace and security. · 80% of the Bank's shares belong to the Government of Germany. The bank operates on behalf of the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development. Headquarters are located in Frankfurt, Germany. KfW Bank operates in more than 100 countries worldwide; · Stefan Wintels has served as the board chairman since 2021; · The Bank mainly operates in the areas of socio-economic infrastructure (energy supply, transport, and telecommunications), agriculture and resource protection, as well as providing credit to small and medium enterprises. |
