A delegation led by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodjaev, who is on visit in our country have visited Alley of Honors to pay respect and lay a wreath at the tomb of national leader. The delegation also paid respect to Azerbaijani heroes, who gave their lives for the country’s independence and territorial integrity and put flowers at their graves. Azerbaijan`s Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov has met with Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Jamshid Khodjaev. It was emphasized that high-level visits and meetings are important in strengthening relations for successfully developing economic-trade and investment. Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan cooperate effectively in the international arena. The Minister of Economy noted that appropriate measures are being taken to expand cooperation in the fields of industry, transport, energy, trade, and agriculture.
The transit potential of Baku International Sea Trade Port and Alat Free Economic Zone, opportunities to invest in our liberated territories were also reported at the meeting and Uzbek companies were invited to take advantage of the favorable business environment in our country.
Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Jamshid Khojayev spoke about Uzbekistan companies are successfully operating in Azerbaijan noted the importance of the discussions in the development of regional cooperation and the establishment of new business relations.
