About 16 million manats were invested in the enterprise, which was privatized through the investment competition, and about 90 new jobs were created.
Privatized enterprises in the country are being rebuilt, their activities are expanding, and new jobs are being created in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On some measures related to the acceleration of the privatization of state-owned property and increasing the efficiency of management" and the tasks in this direction. One of these enterprises is Yenikend Sturgeon Breeding Farm of "Azerbaijan Fish Farm" LLC, located in Neftchala district, which was privatized through an investment competition (previous Kursk-experimental factory that reproduces sturgeons named after S.G. Karimov).
A mediator was organized for the enterprise in the organization of the State Service on Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy. Media representatives were informed about the history of the enterprise, the production process, the new equipment being installed and the applied technology. It was reported that the winner of the investment competition announced for the "Kursk-experimental factory that reproduces sturgeons named after S.G. Karimov" LLC has assumed a number of obligations on "Azerbaijan Fish Farm" LLC and their implementation has already been completed in the manner specified in the purchase agreement.
About 16 million manats have been invested in the enterprise, up to 90 new jobs have been created, and the total number of employees has increased to 115 people. The investor completely rebuilt 34 pools in the enterprise, installed new pools, updated the water supply system, and landscaped the territory.
As a result of the implementation of the Investment Program, a specialized breeding farm operating on the basis of nohur, open water supply system and closed water circle was created in the enterprise for the first time among Caspian countries.
Reconstruction of the enterprise not only serves the development of the food industry, but also creates conditions for meeting the population's need for fish and fish products. Manufactured products are sold in the domestic market and exported to foreign countries.
Note: Yenikend Sturgeon Breeding Farm of "Azerbaijan Fish Farm" LLC consists of 1 main and 2 auxiliary farms. The total area of the main farm, located in Yenikend village of Neftchala district, is 58.6 hectares. The farm consists of wells, a closed-loop water circuit water supply system and various hydrotechnical devices, water sump systems. A closed water system built by the Dutch company "HESY Aquaculture BV" includes pools, water content control systems and facilities for raising fish of different age groups.
