The work done on the socio-economic development strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2022-2026 was discussed.
The first meeting was held by the " Working Group on Economic Growth " in order to achieve the goal of a sustainable growing competitive economy provided for in the socio-economic development strategy of our country in 2022-2026.
The chairman of the working group, the deputy minister of economy, Sahib Mammadov, making a speech at the meeting emphasized the role of the implementation of measures on the socio-economic development strategy of our country in achieving sustainable and competitive economic development. The deputy minister drew attention to the state of implementation of the measures of the working group's activities, the work done during the first 6 months of 2023 on the measures of which the Ministry of Economy is the main executor. It was noted that a monitoring and evaluation portal was created in order to ensure the effectiveness of work on the strategy.
Rashad Huseynov, deputy executive director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, presented the reports prepared for the first half of 2023 on the monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of the measures provided for in the strategy.
Discussions were held at the meeting with the members of the working group and representatives of the relevant state institutions in order to further increase the efficiency, and the next steps were determined.
It should be noted that 8 working groups were established to ensure the full, timely and effective implementation of the measures provided for in the "Socio-economic Development Strategy for 2022-2026 of the Republic of Azerbaijan " and to coordinate the activities of the relevant state bodies.
