Issues of expanding economic and trade relations between Azerbaijan and India were discussed.
Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov met with India's Minister of commerce and Industry, Co-chair of the Azerbaijan-India Intergovernmental Commission Mrs. Anupriya Patel.
The importance of the activity of the Intergovernmental Commission on trade, economic, scientific and technological cooperation between the Governments of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of India was emphasized and the potential of cooperation in the fields of industry, energy, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, transport-transit, ICT and other fields, as well as opportunities for mutual investments were brought to attention in the meeting where mutual views were exchanged on the existing economic relations between Azerbaijan and India and the possibilities of expanding cooperation.
The parties exchanged views on the expansion of partnership and the development of economic and trade relations between the business circles of both countries.
