The work done on the socio-economic development strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2022-2026 was discussed at the meeting of the "Working group on economic growth".
The next meeting of the "Working Group on Economic Growth" was held in connection with the implementation of the socio-economic development strategy of our country in 2022-2026.
The chairman of the working group, deputy minister of economy Sahib Mammadov emphasized at the meeting the role of the measures implemented under the strategy of socio-economic development in achieving sustainable and competitive economic development. The state of implementation of the measures in the directions of the working group's activities, the work done on the projects of which the Ministry of Economy is the main executor were brought to attention.
Discussions were held at the meeting with members of the working group and representatives of the relevant state institutions about the issues related to the implementation of works. Information was heard by the Ministries of Economy, Digital Development and Transport, Agriculture, Culture, Health, Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency, State Tourism Agency and "Azerbaijan Railways" CJSC and proposals were made regarding the implementation of works.
Deputy chairman of the working group, deputy director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, Rashad Huseynov, made speech about the work done on monitoring and evaluation of the Strategy, as well as about future plans.
Discussions were held at the meeting with the members of the working group and representatives of the relevant state institutions in order to further increase the efficiency, and the next steps were determined.
Note: "Working group on economic growth " was created in order to ensure the full, timely and effective implementation of measures provided for the objectives of "Sustainable and high economic growth" and "Balanced development of the capital and regions" in the "Socio-economic Development Strategy for 2022-2026of of the Republic of Azerbaijan ", as well as to coordinate the activities of relevant state bodies.
