5 more micro-entrepreneurs exempted from profit and income tax

So far, 135 SMEs have been awarded the "Startup" certificate.

The Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMB) awarded the "Startup" certificate to 5 more SMEs.

"Startup" certificates were presented to the hotel and car reservation platform of "Vvonder Voyage" LLC, "Kidfi" LLC's online platform and mobile application that improves financial literacy and calculation skills, "CM Elec Troniq" LLC's production of ultrasound therapeutic weight loss device, " 4Youkid" LLC's online platform for psychological services, to individual entrepreneur Ramil Gadirov's projects for the production of a control-measuring device for recording environmental parameters.

The "Startup" certificate exempts SME entities from profit and income tax on their income from innovation activities for a period of 3 years from the date of receipt of the certificate.

Micro and small business entities whose projects are in the development stage can apply to KOBIA for a "Startup" certificate. It should be noted that only in 2023, 42 SMEs were awarded the "Startup" certificate. 39 of them are micro and 3 are small enterprises. The projects receiving this document include innovative solutions in the fields of production and services. So far, 135 SMEs have been presented with the "Startup" certificate.
