The development of economic-trade and investment relations with Saudi Arabia was discussed at the meeting held at the Ministry of Economy.
Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov met with the delegation led by the Chairman of the Federation of Saudi Chambers of Commerce Hassan Moejeb Alhwaizy .
The successful development of Azerbaijan-Saudi Arabia economic relations was brought to attention at the meeting. It was mentioned that there is a favorable environment for investors in our country, and the importance of the project implemented by the Saudi Arabian "ACWA Power" company in the field of alternative and renewable energy in Azerbaijan.
It was emphasized that the Azerbaijan-Saudi Arabia Joint Business Council is an effective mechanism in terms of realizing opportunities for expanding investment cooperation and increasing bilateral trade turnover. The importance of strengthening joint activities for diversifying the economy and ensuring sustainable development in our countries was pointed out.
The parties discussed the promotion of bilateral investments and trade relations, the creation of joint ventures, the participation of investors from Saudi Arabia as residents in Azerbaijan's industrial parks.
