An article titled "How Azerbaijan Uses Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Energy Transformation" has been published on the official website of the World Economic Forum (WEF).
The article states that Azerbaijan is taking significant steps to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) technologies into its energy sector, enhancing efficiency and sustainability. In the context of discussions held within COP29, the country is implementing AI-driven solutions to expand the use of renewable energy and achieve decarbonization goals.
Within the framework of the "Artificial Intelligence Solutions in Energy" initiative, jointly carried out by the World Economic Forum's Center for Energy and Materials and 4SIM, advanced approaches are being implemented, including optimizing energy consumption, improving predictive maintenance for infrastructure, and forecasting energy demand using AI.
It is worth noting that pilot projects have been launched in Azerbaijan to implement these solution concepts. The projects aim to save up to 30% in energy consumption and reduce carbon emissions by 25-30% through the application of smart sensors and predictive AI algorithms. Furthermore, significant steps are being taken for Azerbaijan to position itself as a global green energy supplier, maximizing its renewable energy potential.
