Registration has begun for those interested in benefiting from the training sessions under the "National Program," implemented through the joint cooperation of 4SIM and the Education Development Fund.

Registration has begun for the second phase of the "National Program," implemented through the joint cooperation of the Fourth Industrial Revolution Analysis and Coordination Center (4SIM) under the Ministry of Economy and the Education Development Fund under the Ministry of Science and Education. Azerbaijani citizens, regardless of age or employment status, can benefit from the free training sessions. To register, citizens must visit the form.4sim.gov.az  website. Those who register will receive a license to access training sessions on the "Coursera" online education platform for six weeks starting from May.

It should be noted that the first 7,500 users of the "National Program" began benefiting from the training sessions starting April 1. As of today, citizens have applied for 20,242 training sessions on the platform. A total of 2,326 training sessions have been completed, and those who successfully completed the assignments have received international certificates.

Within the framework of the program, it is planned that tens of thousands of users will benefit from training on "Coursera," the world's largest online education platform, over the course of one year. The goal is to accelerate the transition to a digital economy in the country by developing knowledge and skills in the field of Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies and supporting the preparation of qualified professionals in this area for the labor market.

Users benefit from courses and training provided by nearly 350 of the world’s most prestigious universities and leading technology companies on the online platform, including Oxford, Stanford, Yale, Duke, London, Edinburgh, Manchester, Michigan, Johns Hopkins, Illinois, Florida, Sydney, as well as companies like Microsoft, Google, Meta, IBM, AWS, Oracle, Gitlab, Intel, SAP, and Salesforce. The platform offers up to 8,000 specialized courses and programs for “National Program” users, covering fields such as 4IR technologies, artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data, data analytics, blockchain, cloud technologies, programming languages, leadership, personal development, and communication skills. Under the "National Program," the 2,500 most requested courses on the "Coursera" platform are accompanied by Azerbaijani language subtitles with the help of artificial intelligence.

It should be noted that last year, as part of the pilot project "4Sİ Academy," 10,000 people benefited from courses on the "Coursera" platform in shifts over the course of a year. Participants listened to more than 32,000 hours of courses, and 4,200 international certificates were awarded to those who successfully completed the training. In 2024, the project won the "Artificial Intelligence Innovation" category of the "Outstanding Achievement Award 2024" competition by the "Coursera" company. SOCAR, "Pasha Holding," BP, and JOCAP companies are the main partners of the "National Program."
