At the meeting held at the Ministry of Economy, the sides exchanged views on cooperation and prospects for joint activities with Pakistan in the fields of investment, industry, and energy.
Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov met with Tarig Bajwa, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister and Minister of State of Pakistan.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that the relations between the two friendly countries have been strengthening in an atmosphere of mutual trust and are developing progressively across various sectors. The opportunities created by the Azerbaijan-Pakistan partnership for the diversification of economic relations and the prospects for implementing joint projects were discussed.
The parties exchanged views on the positive dynamics in bilateral economic relations, the role of the Preferential Trade Agreement in strengthening business partnerships, as well as cooperation in the fields of investment, industry, and energy.
