The First Deputy Minister of Economy, Elnur Aliyev, met with Lin Keqing, Chairman of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
The meeting emphasized that Azerbaijan-China relations have been elevated to the level of strategic partnership. It was noted that economic, trade, and investment cooperation with China is strengthening. Currently, nearly 320 Chinese companies operate in Azerbaijan across industries such as manufacturing, agriculture, transportation, construction, trade, and services. Chinese companies actively participate in projects implemented in the country. Nevertheless, the potential for further cooperation remains vast.
Information was provided about our country’s favorable business environment and directions for developing mutually beneficial partnerships. The broad potential for economic cooperation with China, including with its Guangdong Province, in various sectors was highlighted.
The parties discussed the development of cooperation in trade, industry, investment, transport and transit, and other areas.
