The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan announces the acceptance of applications from exporters for the support measure "Individual participation in international exhibitions and fairs" in accordance with the "Rules for the organization of export missions to foreign countries and buyer missions to the territory of Azerbaijan, research and marketing activities of foreign markets, promotion of the "Made in Azerbaijan" brand in foreign markets, obtaining international certificates for export by local companies, and determining the part of the expenses incurred for export-related research and development programs and projects to be paid from the state budget and regulating the payment mechanism" (hereinafter referred to as the Rules), approved by the Decree No. 1063 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated October 5, 2016.
The amount of support paid to exporters for individual participation in an international exhibition or fair covers 50% (not exceeding 10,000 manats) of the expenses incurred in the following areas:
Rental of space at the exhibition or fair venue;
Design, production, and installation of the stand at the exhibition or fair venue;
Transportation of the products to be displayed to the exhibition or fair venue.
The support amount for individual participation in international exhibitions and fairs is paid as follows:
Within 30 working days from the end date of the individual participation in the international exhibition or fair, an application must be submitted to receive the support amount;
The following documents must be attached to the application:
A document confirming the work performed, service provided, or rent paid (invoice);
The original or notarized copy of the concluded contract;
The original or notarized copy of the document confirming the payment of funds or the incurred expense;
A written, photo, or video report on the individual participation in the international exhibition or fair.
The application is reviewed within 30 working days in total:
Within 2 working days from the date of registration, the compliance of the application and attached documents with the Rules is checked;
If the application and attached documents do not comply with the Rules, the applicant is informed to eliminate the deficiencies;
The deficiencies must be eliminated no later than 10 working days from the date the notification is received;
After the deficiencies are eliminated, the review period continues.
Within 20 working days from the date the decision on payment of the support amount is made, the support amount is transferred to the applicant’s bank account.
For 2025–2026, the decision on the payment of the support amount under the “Individual participation in international exhibitions and fairs” support measure will be made based on the compliance of the exhibition or fair specified in the application with the following criteria:
Applications may be submitted for reimbursement of the support amount for individual participation in international exhibitions and fairs to be held in Asia, Europe, Africa, North America, South America, Australia, and Oceania in the fields of industry, technology, education, healthcare, agriculture, food industry and food products, fashion, design, tourism, and logistics.
