In an interview with CNN Business Arabic, Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov provided information about the successful economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates, highlighting the strategic importance of joint projects.
As part of his participation in the OPEC Fund for International Development Forum, Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov gave an interview to CNN Business Arabic.
The interview touched upon topics such as the strengthening of economic relations with the United Arab Emirates (UAE), successful cooperation in the fields of energy, industry, transport, and investment, the strategic importance of joint projects, and the diversification of the economy.
The interview highlighted that Azerbaijan and the UAE are partners in the implementation of numerous projects in both countries. Joint efforts are being carried out in the fields of energy security and diversification. In this regard, cooperation with companies such as Masdar, ADNOC, XRG, and others was emphasized.
Information was provided about the effective investment cooperation with the UAE and the opportunities created by the Azerbaijan-UAE Joint Investment Fund.
The interview highlighted Azerbaijan’s economic development priorities, achievements in economic diversification and private sector development, as well as the ongoing efforts for the restoration and reconstruction of the liberated territories.
