Meeting held with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs

The potential for economic cooperation with Pakistan, as well as the intensive promotion of trade and mutual investments, was discussed.

Within the framework of the 17th Summit Meeting of the Economic Cooperation Organization held in the city of Khankendi, Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov met with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Muhammad Ishag Dar.

The meeting emphasized that the relations between the two friendly countries are strengthening based on mutual trust, and cooperation in various fields is developing rapidly. A discussion was held regarding the opportunities created by Azerbaijan-Pakistan partnership for diversifying our economic relations and the prospects of implementing joint projects.

The parties discussed strengthening bilateral economic and trade relations, actively promoting mutual investments, and the prospects for cooperation between business entities of our countries.
