Azerbaijan participated in the 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo held in Beijing and the 4th Shanghai Cooperation Organization International Investment and Trade Expo.
The 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) was held in Beijing from July 16 to 20, 2025. With the support of the Ministry of Economy and the organization of the Trade Representative’s Office of Azerbaijan in China, Azerbaijan participated in the exhibition with a unified national stand.
At the booth set up in the "Smart Manufacturing" section of the CISCE, detailed information was presented about Azerbaijan's favorable business environment, industrial parks, investment opportunities created in the Alat Free Economic Zone, and the potential of the Karabakh and East Zangazur economic regions.
Within the framework of the exhibition, negotiations were held with more than 50 companies operating in areas such as high technologies, agriculture, construction materials, equipment manufacturing, electric vehicles, and others. These companies were provided with extensive information about the business environment of our country.
From July 17 to 20, our country was represented at the 4th Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) International Investment and Trade Expo. The event took place at the SCO Pearl International Expo Center in Qingdao, where a permanent Azerbaijan pavilion hosted the exhibition and sale of “Made in Azerbaijan” products. A special “pomegranate corner” was set up in the pavilion, providing Chinese consumers with detailed information about Azerbaijan’s pomegranate products. Negotiations were held with potential partners regarding the import and purchase of products. The exhibition was attended by 26 countries that are part of the “SCO family” (member states, observers, and dialogue partners).
At the conference on the promotion of economy and trade held within the framework of the exhibition, Chief Advisor of the Trade Representative’s Office, Natiq Khalilov, delivered a presentation on Azerbaijan’s investment and trade opportunities. The presentation highlighted the country’s business environment, trade and investment potential, as well as prospects for cooperation between China and Azerbaijan in these areas. Following the event, discussions were held with company representatives regarding partnership opportunities, and questions were answered.
