Meeting held with delegation of Arab Coordination Group

The Ministry of Economy discussed cooperation opportunities with the delegation of the Arab Coordination Group.

A meeting was held at the Ministry of Economy with a delegation of experts from the Arab Coordination Group (ACG), which includes the Islamic Development Bank Group, the Abu Dhabi Development Fund, the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, the Saudi Fund for Development, and the OPEC Fund for International Development. During the meeting, it was emphasized that our country has successfully cooperated with the financial institutions within the Group. Information was provided on the favorable business environment created in Azerbaijan for business development and investment, as well as on potential investment areas.

The delegation stated that the Arab Coordination Group attaches importance to expanding cooperation with Azerbaijan. It was noted that holding the Islamic Development Bank Group’s annual meetings in Azerbaijan in 2026 would be significant for strengthening the partnership.

At the meeting, the possibilities for expanding existing cooperation and implementing state-guaranteed investment projects were discussed. It was emphasized that the Arab Coordination Group is ready to actively participate in the financing of state-guaranteed investment projects.
