At a meeting with the Ambassador of Brazil to Azerbaijan, an exchange of views was held on the development of partnership in various areas.
The First Deputy Minister of Economy, Elnur Aliyev, who is also the Co-Chairman of the Joint Working Group on Trade and Investment Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Federative Republic of Brazil, held a meeting with the Brazilian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Manuel Adalberto Carlos Montenegro Lopes da Cruz.
It was emphasized at the meeting that mutual visits and signed agreements play an important role in the development of bilateral relations. In addition, the Joint Working Group of Azerbaijan and Brazil, whose first session will be held in Brazil on September 1 of this year, serves as an important mechanism for cooperation.
The importance of strengthening trade and investment relations with Brazil in accordance with their existing potential was noted. In addition, agriculture, transportation, education and technology, and tourism were highlighted as key priorities in the partnership between our countries.
Information was provided on the favorable business environment established in our country and the opportunities created for investors, and Brazilian investors were invited to engage in active cooperation.
