At the meeting held at the Ministry of Economy with the Chief Executive Officer of “ACWA Power”, the seawater desalination project to be implemented in our country and potential future projects were discussed.
Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov met with Marco Arcelli, Chief Executive Officer of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s “ACWA Power” company.
At the meeting, it was emphasized that successful projects have been implemented between our country and “ACWA Power.” The parties reviewed the implementation status of the seawater desalination project to be carried out in our country. Views were exchanged on potential future projects within the framework of efficient water resource management and sustainable development goals. The importance of such initiatives in terms of developing public-private partnerships in Azerbaijan, as well as the transfer of advanced technological knowledge and innovations, was highlighted.
