At the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the priorities of partnership were discussed during the meeting with the Head of the European Union Delegation to Azerbaijan.
Minister of Economy Mikayıl Jabbarov met with Head of the European Union (EU) Delegation to Azerbaijan, Ambassador Marijana Kujundžić.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that the economic and trade relations with the European Union — one of Azerbaijan’s main foreign trade partners — are expanding. The cooperation between the European Union and Azerbaijan in the fields of energy, investment, and other areas contributes to the regional development.
The parties discussed the priorities of the Azerbaijan–EU cooperation. An exchange of views took place regarding Azerbaijan’s strategic development goals and the EU’s 2024 Financing Agreement for Azerbaijan. During the discussions, initiatives in trade, energy, transport, infrastructure, and digitalization within the framework of the joint activities were noted, as well as opportunities for diversifying cooperation.
