Prospects for expanding the economic cooperation with the Sultanate of Oman have been discussed.
Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov has held a meeting with Said bin Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Saqri, the Minister of Economy of the Sultanate of Oman, and reviewed opportunities to strengthen the economic relations.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that the high-level relations between the two countries based on mutual trust have laid the foundation for expanding the economic and trade ties.
The parties highlighted the significance of enhancing the legal and contractual framework to promote the joint economic activities, establishing the Azerbaijan – Oman Direct Investment Fund, the Working Group on Investments and the Azerbaijan – Oman Joint Business Council.
The parties also evaluated the prospects for expanding the collaboration in renewable and traditional energy, transportation, logistics, tourism and other areas.
