The current state and prospects of existing cooperation between Azerbaijan and the World Bank have been discussed.
Deputy Minister of Economy Samad Bashirli has met with the delegation led by Sameh Naquib Wahba, the Regional Director for Sustainable Development in Europe and the Central Asian region of the World Bank.
During the meeting, information was provided on the socio-economic reforms being implemented in our country and the steps taken to improve the business and investment climate. The importance of cooperation with the World Bank and the institutional and technical support measures provided by the Bank in this regard was highlighted.
The meeting involved an exchange of views on projects implemented between Azerbaijan and the World Bank, as well as issues of mutual interest.
