The prospects for developing the economic partnership between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan have been discussed at the meeting held at the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Within the framework of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov has held a meeting with Deryageldi Orazov, the Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the prospects for developing the economic partnership between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan were explored. The parties emphasized the positive results of the cooperation in investments, transport, logistics and transit transportations.
Moreover, the sides shared views on promoting mutual activities in trade, energy and other areas, expanding the regional economic relations and identifying new opportunities for cooperation.
The parties also noted that further deepening the economic cooperation will contribute to the sustainable development of the two countries and strengthening the economic integration in the region.
