The current state of the economic relations and prospects for developing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Oman have been explored.
Within the framework of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov has held a meeting with Khalfan Al-Shueili, the Minister of Housing and Urban Planning of the Sultanate of Oman.
At the meeting, the current state of the economic relations between Azerbaijan and Oman, as well as prospects for developing cooperation were discussed. The parties emphasized that the friendly relations between the two countries create favorable foundation for expanding cooperation in the economic field.
During the discussions, the parties exchanged views on diversifying the business relations, promoting mutual investments, increasing the trade turnover and opportunities for cooperation in the field of infrastructure. Additionally, the importance of expertise exchange in urban planning, construction and sustainable urbanization was highlighted.
Within the framework of the meeting, the sides also touched upon the participation in potential investment projects, expanding ties among representatives of the private sector and identifying new avenues for collaboration.
