The main directions of cooperation and future development prospects between Azerbaijan and the OPEC Fund have been discussed.
Within the framework of the Annual Meetings of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov has met with Abdulhamid Alkhalifa, the President of the OPEC Fund for International Development.
The meeting focused on the primary areas of cooperation and future development prospects between Azerbaijan and the OPEC Fund. The parties reviewed the activities being implemented under the Country Partnership Framework covering the years 2025–2030.
An exchange of views took place regarding the work being done to improve water supply, develop social infrastructure, and enhance environmental sustainability. Additionally, support for the private sector, the promotion of investment opportunities, and possibilities for participation in regional connectivity projects were reviewed.
