At the meeting held at the Ministry of Economy, opportunities for joint activities in the efficient management of energy, mineral resources and water reserves have been reviewed.
Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov has held a meeting with Yang Tianfu, the President of China’s PowerChina Resources.
During the meeting, information was provided on Azerbaijan’s favorable business and investment climate, as well as opportunities for energy exports.
The parties reviewed the priority directions of cooperation in the green energy sector between Azerbaijan and China, and prospects of the joint initiatives realized for the development of renewable energy sources.
During the discussions, views were exchanged on the works carried out for the construction of solar and wind power plants, participation in public-private partnership projects, as well as opportunities for joint activities in the efficient management of energy, mineral resources and water reserves.
