In the first half of this year, more than 13 million applications for public services provided by the Ministry of Economy were registered, with more than 92% of the applications carried out electronically.

More than 13 million applications for services provided by the Ministry of Economy were registered in January-June 2026. Electronic services accounted for 92.2% of the applications.

Currently, 289 services are provided to citizens, including entrepreneurs, across the areas of activity of the Ministry of Economy, 181 (62.6%) of which have been digitized.

Applications for electronic services provided by the Ministry can be submitted through www.economy.gov.az, www.lisenziya.gov.az, as well as through electronic service sections created on the websites of the Ministry’s structural units and subordinate entities, and through the relevant sections reflecting the name of the respective service.

Through these online platforms, entrepreneurs can obtain necessary economic and legal information and apply to receive certain documents establishing rights related to business activities (licenses, notifications on the registration of grant agreements (decisions) in relation to commercial entities and public legal entities, etc.).

The service for issuing licenses to entrepreneurs has been fully digitized. Business representatives can electronically apply to the Ministry of Economy through the “Licenses and Permits” portal to obtain licenses for relevant types of activities. At the same time, license applications can also be submitted through relevant “ASAN service” centers and SME Houses.

In addition, the Ministry of Economy’s “Electronic Services Portal” serves as a single window, enabling users to access, through their electronic cabinet, the services of the Ministry’s structural units and subordinate entities as well. The portal enables users to track the processing of the service they have applied for and provide feedback on their experience using the service.

In order to increase the efficiency of public services and user satisfaction, the Ministry of Economy continues its efforts towards digitizing services, automating data exchange between information systems, implementing innovative solutions, and optimizing procedures.
