Issues related to the development of the beverage industry and the expansion of production capacity were discussed with Carlsberg Group.
As part of the Second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov met with Nikos Kalaitzidakis, Executive Vice President for Central and Eastern Europe and India at Carlsberg Group.
During the meeting, the parties reviewed areas for further developing cooperation with Carlsberg Group and the work carried out within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding for 2025–2029.
The discussions covered the improvement of regulatory mechanisms in the brewing industry, the localization of raw materials and packaging, as well as the creation of new business opportunities in the region.
The parties also discussed the development of the beverage industry in Azerbaijan, the expansion of production capacity, and the identification of new areas for investment cooperation.
