Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov has accepted the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Azerbaijan Mohammad Al Blushi.
Wishing success to the Ambassador in his activities in our country, the Minister underlined the high level of the Azerbaijani-UAE relations based on the principles of mutual friendship and respect, and successful cooperation in the economic sphere. It was reported that cooperation is expanding in the areas of trade, mutual investment, support for SMBs, logistics, tourism, etc. An important role is played by such platforms as the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Trade and Technical Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the United Arab Emirates, the Trade Representation of Azerbaijan in the UAE and the Trade House of Azerbaijan in Dubai in the development of trade and economic partnership. Mr. Jabbarov talked of ample opportunities to promote the participation of UAE companies in our liberated territories, projects implemented using the concepts of smart city and smart village, industry, digitalization, the 4th Industrial Revolution and other areas, noting the importance of active cooperation between business circles in connection therewith.
UAE Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohammad Al Blushi stressed the great importance attached by UAE to the development of relations with Azerbaijan, the interest of UAE companies in participating in projects implemented in our liberated territories, saying that he would make further efforts to expand cooperation.
The meeting focused on the areas of development of trade and economic partnership between the two countries.
