The regular meeting of the Working Group on the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) Technologies took place within the framework of the 4th Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition organized at Baku Expo Center. The meeting, chaired by Tamerlan Taghiyev, Executive Director of the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution under the Ministry of Economy, was attended by representatives of relevant government agencies.
The event talked around efforts done towards expanding the application of the 4IR technologies in the country, as well as developing the National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence since the first meeting of the Working Group. The meeting further discussed the measures to be taken in connection with the implementation of the tasks arising from the relevant provisions mentioned in the Strategy for the Socio-Economic Development of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2022-2026, and heard opinions and proposals.
The members of the working group then got acquainted with the new technologies presented at the 4th Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition.
For reference: The Working Group on the 4IR technologies was established to study the possibilities of using the 4IR technologies, form a regulatory framework and roadmaps, coordinate projects, and expand cooperation with international organizations working in this area.
