With the aim of reviving Garabagh and developing its industrial potential, work is underway in stages in the Industrial Park "Araz Valley Economic Zone", established in the Jabrayil region.
The industrial park covering an area of 200 hectares has a mobilization camp built on its territory to ensure the comfort of the workers who will work here. At present, container-type dormitories, offices, pharmacies, warehouses, shops, canteens and other service facilities have been created in the mobile camp. Fencing around the perimeter of the camp has been completed. The construction of an electrical substation with a capacity of 40 MVA and an administrative building have begun in the Industrial Park.
Entrepreneurs evince great interest in the Industrial Park. To date, one business entity, KAMAZ Leasing Azerbaijan LLC, has received the status of a resident of the Industrial Park "Araz Valley Economic Zone", which has already begun construction work. In addition, a filling station will be built on the territory of the Industrial Park.
Businesses are showing great interest in Araz Valley Economic Zone. 6 projects of entrepreneurs who want to become residents of the Industrial Park with an investment value of more than 30 million manats are pending. With the implementation of these projects in the Industrial Park, it is planned to create more than 400 permanent jobs.
