General information about the organization

· The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TCCA) was established in 1992 to provide foreign aid under the purview of the Turkish Foreign Ministry.

· It has been subjected to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye since July 15, 2018.

· Abdullah Eren has been heading the organization since July 11, 2025.

· TCCA has 63 Programme Coordination Offices in 61 countries around the world.

· Simultaneously, TCCA collaborates in more than 170 countries across the globe in related fields.

Information about cooperation between Azerbaijan and the organization

· The TCCA's Baku Office of Program Coordination Office has been operational since 1994.

· Hayrettin Özçelik has been heading the Office since March 11, 2024.

· 1748 projects and activities have been implemented in Azerbaijan by TİKA between 1992 and 2025. Since the beginning of 2026, the implementation of 22 projects and activities is ongoing.

· Projects are implemented on a one-off basis in the form of small volumes of assistance and special attention is paid to the establishment of cooperation with the state and non-state structures of Azerbaijan in the fields of agriculture, tourism, institutional infrastructure development, economic, technical, social, cultural and health spheres.
