Information about cooperation between Azerbaijan and the organization

  • Azerbaijan’s membership:Since 1993.
  • Azerbaijan signed the following documents:

- Memorandum on cooperation in the field of industrial development (2000);

- Framework Program on cooperation during 2005-2010 (2005);

- Program related to the cooperation with UNIDO during 2014-2018 (2014);

- The Cooperation Framework between Azerbaijan and UNIDO for 2022-2026 (2022).

· On 17-18 April 2012, a regional conference related to the industrial parks was held by UNIDO in Azerbaijan.

· On 26-27 November 2014, an international conference on the topic of "Main trends of the industry policy in XXI century, modern approach and experiences" was held in Baku.

· 19th session of UNİDO was held in virtual format during 29 November-3 December 2021. The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economy.

· On November 14, 2022, the virtual meeting between Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov and Director General of UNIDO Gerd Müller was held during which the Cooperation Framework between Azerbaijan and UNIDO for 2022-2026 was signed.
