  • Cooperation with Azerbaijan began in 1996

· In Azerbaijan, JICA has supported projects in the areas of energy, transport, water supply and sanitation, healthcare, education, environment and human resource development through technical cooperation, grant aid and concessional loans.

· Sovereign loans were attracted for 4 projects and all projects have been completed.
