As a continuation of the discussions held on December 3, 2022, on December 7 a meeting was held with the command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Khojaly on illegal exploitation of mineral deposits, environmental and other secondary consequences among the experts from the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the State Service for Real Estate Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and “AzerGold” Closed Joint-Stock Company and the command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent temporarily located in the territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The monitoring carried out in different directions, issues of eliminating the consequences of the damage and risk assessment was discussed during the meeting.
The meeting took place in a constructive spirit and related contacts will be continued.
