28 economic entities (23 in industrial parks, 5 in industrial districts) received resident status in industrial zones managed by the Economic Zones Development Agency (EZIA) in 2022. It is planned to invest a total of 171 million manats by registered residents and to create more than 2,400 workplaces.
These residents will implement production projects of various tonnage cargo and special purpose vehicles, electrical distribution equipment and electrical sockets, various construction chemicals, electrical machines and meters, soft polymer packaging products, ventilation, firefighting equipment and various metal products, roof coverings, automation and telemechanical systems, wallpapers, etc. in industrial zones.
It should be noted that the Economic Zones Development Agency is the managing organization of 6 industrial parks (Sumgait Chemical, Pirallahi, Mingachevir, Garadag, Aghdam and "Araz Valley Economic Zone" industrial parks), 4 industrial districts (Hajigabul, Masalli, Neftchala and Sabirabad industrial districts), 51 agricultural parks and the Vocational Education Center.
