Deputy Minister of Economy Sahib Mammadov met with Mark Bowman, Vice President for Policy and Partnerships of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
The Deputy Minister stressed that Azerbaijan attaches importance to the development of relations with the Bank, that the EBRD is a reliable partner, and provides long-term and ongoing support to the economic development of our country. At the meeting, information was provided on measures being taken to diversify the Azerbaijani economy, develop the non-oil sector, encourage investments and further improve the business environment.
EBRD Vice President for Policy and Partnerships Mark Bowman noted the effective cooperation of the Bank with our country and said that the Bank supports the economic reforms carried out in Azerbaijan.
The parties discussed the current state of the partnership, implementation of joint projects and prospective directions of cooperation.
