Metal construction and equipment installation works are about to be completed at the ceramic tile production facility of "Azerbaijan Vanhong Ceramics Co" LLC - a Chinese capital resident of Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park under the management of Economic Zones Development Agency (EZIA).
The investment value of the enterprise is 68 million manats. To date, more than 51 million manats have already been invested in the work done on the project, and 80 percent of the work has been completed. The company will produce tiles in two sizes, which will ensure permanent work for 400 people. In addition to the sale of manufactured products in the domestic market, it is planned to export them to Russia, Georgia, Turkey, Kazakhstan and other countries.
The enterprise is expected to start operating in the first half of 2023.
It should be noted that "Azerbaijan Vanhong Ceramics Co" LLC was granted the status of resident of Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park in October 2021. The industrial enterprise will play an important role in import substitution and expansion of export potential.
