A resident of SKSP managed by the Economic Zones Development Agency is undergoing final completion works at the packaging products (corrugated cardboard, file, etc.) manufacturing facility of UPI - Universal Packing Industry CJSC.
The investment value of the enterprise is 4.25 million manats. 4.1 million manats have already been invested in the work done on the project so far, and the main part of the work (about 80 percent) has been completed.
The enterprise will produce 20 types of products using Italian and Chinese technologies.
At the initial stage, 50 people will be provided with permanent jobs in the enterprise. At the next stage, it is planned to increase the number of employees to 80 people.
It should be noted that "UPI - Universal Packing Industry" JSC was granted the residency status of Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park in September 2019, and the enterprise is planned to be commissioned in the first half of 2023.
