A delegation consisting of representatives of government agencies and entrepreneurs headed by the Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov is on a visit to Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
First, they visited the monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev, erected in the center of Nakhchivan and flowers were laid in front of it.
A meeting was held within the framework of the visit with Fuad Najafli, the authorized representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
Large-scale events, systematic construction works, including important infrastructure projects, energy supply, construction of modern roads, educational and health facilities, opening of new enterprises and creation of jobs carried out in Nakhchivan under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev were highlighted at the meeting. It was pointed out that the priorities in Nakhchivan are the improvement of management, the effective use of the economic potential, increasing transparency in the socio-economic sphere, improving the business environment, and eliminating the difficulties faced by entrepreneurs. The result-oriented reforms carried out in this area will determine the continuous development of the Autonomous Republic in accordance with the economic growth rates of our country.
Positive changes were noted in the socio-economic sphere in Nakhchivan, measures were reported to strengthen the activities of state institutions in this direction, resources and human resources were mobilized for the successful implementation of the tasks set.
Discussions were held at the meeting on supporting the expansion of business in Nakhchivan, ways to solve the problems faced by the private sector, strengthening the activities of relevant institutions in this field, and so on.
Minister Mikayil Jabbarov met with employees of the Ministry of Economy of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic during his visit to Nakhchivan. Discussions were held at the meeting on the activity of the institution. Against the background of the economic reforms implemented in our country and the results achieved, the growing role of the Ministry of Economy in economic regulation was emphasized, and the importance of the effective implementation of the powers of the relevant institution in Nakhchivan was highlighted, and appropriate recommendations were given to achieve the goals set by the country's leadership.
