Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov met with Grzegorz Pechowiak, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Technology of the Republic of Poland.
The Minister of Economy stressed the expansion of Azerbaijan-Poland relations, the role of mutual official visits and meetings in the development of partnership. He noted that our countries are effectively cooperating in a number of areas of the economy, including trade. Trade representation of Azerbaijan for 10 Central European countries, as well as the Azerbaijan Trade House operate in Warsaw. It was pointed out that there are great opportunities for expanding relations in energy, industry, transport, information technologies, agriculture, trade, education and other fields, and Azerbaijan is taking appropriate measures to realize this potential.
Grzegorz Pechowiak, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Technology of the Republic of Poland noted the mutually beneficial cooperation between our countries and shared his views on areas for expanding partnership.
The parties discussed the current state of economic relations, the prospects for developing cooperation.
