Presentations were held in Azerbaijan on the digital economy overview, the main components for the development of the relevant sphere, the successful experience of a number of countries in this direction, and the comparative analysis of the digital economy.
It was the 2nd meeting of the Working group on the preparation of the Digital Economy Strategy.
Discussions were held on the work done in the direction of the preparation of the Strategy at the meeting held in online format with the participation of the representatives of the relevant government agencies. Presentations were made by the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, acting as the secretariat of the working group, and by the international consulting company involved in the strategy development process. The essence and goals of the digital economy, the vision of the digital economy in Azerbaijan, the main components for the development of the relevant field, the successful experience of a number of countries in this direction and a comparative analysis of the digital economy were reflected in the presentations.
The opinions and proposals of the members of the working group were listened to and an exchange of views took place.
It should be noted that 17 institutions, including the Ministry of Economy and its subordinate institutions, are represented in the working group established for the purpose of preparing the Digital Economy Strategy in Azerbaijan and ensuring the effective coordination of the work to be done to ensure development in this area.
