Deputy Minister of Economy Sahib Mammadov met with Nuno Queiros, UNDP Resident Representative a.i. in Azerbaijan.
Sahib Mammadov stressed the importance of effective cooperation with the UN and its specialized agencies to achieve the development goals of our country. It was pointed out that, the implementation of the Framework Document on Cooperation on Sustainable Development signed between the UN and the Government of Azerbaijan for 2021-2025 plays an important role in the ongoing reforms in our country as well as in the implementation of projects in the direction of the realization of "Azerbaijan 2030: National Priorities for Socio-economic Development". Projects implemented in a successful partnership with the UN Development Program are essential for achieving sustainable development.
Nuno Queiros, acting as the resident representative of the United Nations Development Program in Azerbaijan, stressed the useful cooperation with our country and noted that the organization will spare no efforts for the development of relations.
The issues of cooperation in different directions were discussed at the meeting.
