The presentation of the books "Digital Economy: Explanatory Dictionary" and "Results-Based Monitoring and Evaluation System: Methodological Recommendations" was held at the Institute for Scientific Research on Economic Reforms.
The presentation of the book "Digital Economy: Explanatory Dictionary" by Arzu Huseynova, Doctor of Economics, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors and the books "Results-Based Monitoring and Evaluation System: Methodological Recommendations" by Faig Gasimli, scientific worker of the Department of Economic Development Policy Analysis of the Institute, awarded with the medals "For the release of Fuzuli", "For the release of Khojavend" and "For the release of Jabrayil" by the decrees of the head of state, was held at the Institute for Scientific Research on Economic Reforms(Institute). The event was attended by relevant scientists and field experts.
Mahir Humbatov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Institute, said in the presentation that although the books are on different topics, both are intended to contribute to the education of economic knowledge in the Azerbaijani language. The book "Digital Economy: Explanatory Dictionary" includes 608 terms on the digital economy. The book consists of four parts: explanation of digital economy terms in Azerbaijani language, English-Azerbaijani, Russian-Azerbaijani and Azerbaijani-English-Russian dictionaries for those terms.
The book "Results-Based Monitoring and Evaluation System: Methodological Recommendations" provides clear concepts of monitoring and evaluation based on the best international practice and practical examples of various applied tools for building the system. The book also talks about the structural monitoring and evaluation activities necessary to ensure the stability of the system, starting from the diagnosis of the general situation in the relevant field.
Discussions were held on the issues covered by the books, and questions were answered at the event.
