Wide opportunities for the development of cooperation with Israel in various fields were highlighted at the Azerbaijan-Israel business forum and it was stated that the business initiatives of Israeli entrepreneurs in our country are highly appreciated and supported.
Companies representing energy, finance, logistics, water management, chemical industry, agriculture and other fields participated in the Azerbaijan-Israel business forum organized by the Export and Investment Promotion Agency - AZPROMO in Baku.
The co-chairman of the Joint Commission between Azerbaijan and Israel, Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov stressed the importance of the business forum, as well as various meetings and events held between businessmen, in terms of discussing current issues, defining priority areas of cooperation and establishing new relations between business circles. It was noted that strong bilateral friendly relations and high-level political relations between our countries create favorable conditions for the dynamic development of economic cooperation.
The Joint Commission between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the State of Israel, as well as the Israel-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, are of great importance in terms of developing trade and economic partnership between our countries. Numerous Israeli companies operate in Azerbaijan in various fields, and a number of important projects are being implemented. It was pointed out that there are huge opportunities for the development of cooperation with Israel in the fields of energy, trade, industry, agriculture, innovation, infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, tourism and other fields and it was stated that the business initiatives of Israeli entrepreneurs in our country are highly appreciated and supported.
The co-chairman of the Joint Commission, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel Eli Cohen stressed that our countries cooperate effectively in various fields, the projects implemented in Azerbaijan, the unique geographical position and economic stability of our country create a significant cooperation and investment environment for Israeli companies. It was noted that the establishment of the Azerbaijani embassy in Israel creates additional opportunities for the relations between our countries to reach a higher level.
Presentations on investment projects of Azerbaijan and Israel were shown and meetings were held at the event in B2B and B2G format.
