A visit was organized to Brandenburg region of Germany in order to exchange experience on application of innovations, development of business and rural areas within the framework of the technical assistance project "Support of the European Union to the Lankaran-Astara Economic Region of Azerbaijan".
A visit was organized to Brandenburg region of Germany for the purpose of exchange of experience within the technical assistance project "Support of the European Union to the Lankaran-Astara Economic Region of Azerbaijan" funded by the European Union, the beneficiary of which is the Ministries of Economy and Agriculture. Representatives of the Ministries of Economy and Agriculture and executive powers took part in the visit.
Discussions were held on the promotion of innovations in the economy, the introduction of new technologies, measures implemented for the development of business and rural areas, experience in rural tourism and advanced approaches in various fields at the meetings held in the Ministries of Infrastructure and Spatial Planning, Agriculture, Environmental Protection and Climate, Tourism-Marketing Department of Brandenburg Region. The Azerbaijani delegation got acquainted with the activity of small and medium-sized enterprises specializing in the production and marketing of agricultural products in the Brandenburg region.
Note: The goal of the project "Support of the European Union to the Lankaran-Astara economic region of Azerbaijan" is improving the regional territorial development planning system, creating a modern local economic and community cooperation center network in the field of fruit and vegetable production, as well as increasing competitiveness and added value in this region in order to improve entrepreneurship and investment conditions.
