Products manufactured in Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park exported to about 60 countries of world

So far, more than 8.67 billion manats of products have been sold in the Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park, which is managed by the Economic Zones Development Agency under the Ministry of Economy, of which more than 3.12 billion manats are exports.

 

The largest industrial park in the South Caucasus, 37 business entities with a total investment of more than 5.7 billion manats have been granted residency status In Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park. 20 of these residents are currently operating. 4 more enterprises are planned to start operating in the Industrial Park this year.

So far, residents have invested more than 5.3 billion manats in Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park, and more than 6,400 permanent jobs have been created. It is planned to invest 386 million manats in addition to available projects in the Industrial Park and create more than 2,000 permanent jobs.

More than 8.67 billion manats of products have been sold to date by the residents of the Park, of which more than 3.12 billion manats (about 36 percent) are exports. Products worth 1.3 billion manats were produced in the Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park, and products worth 446.3 million manats were exported in the first half of the current year.

With the production of 1.3 billion manats in the first half of 2023, Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park's share in the non-oil sector of the country's industry was 15.2 percent, and 19.6 percent in the export of non-oil industrial products.

The products manufactured in the Industrial Park are exported to about 60 countries of the world, Turkey, Japan, USA, Canada, Italy, China, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Taiwan, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Finland, Netherlands, Macedonia, Lithuania, Austria, Estonia, Denmark, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Brazil, Egypt, UAE, Lebanon, Iraq and other countries.
