Discussions were held on the current situation and prospects of diversification of Azerbaijan-Israel economic and trade cooperation, opportunities for joint activities in the field of agriculture.
A videoconference meeting was held between Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov and Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Israel Avi Dichter.
The Minister of Economy emphasized that work is being continued in the direction of expanding economic cooperation between our countries with high-level relations, informed about the favorable business and investment environment in Azerbaijan, and the economic potential of our territories liberated from occupation. The minister drew attention to the possibilities of implementing joint investment projects with Israeli companies and developing cooperation, and invited businessmen from this country to take advantage of Azerbaijan's business environment and to be active partners.
Avi Dichter mentioned that his country attaches great importance to the development of cooperation with Azerbaijan in the economic, including agricultural sphere, and shared his views on strengthening the partnership.
The parties discussed investment, food security, water management, agriculture and the development prospects of scientific-research cooperation in this field, increasing the export of Azerbaijani products to Israel.
