648 trainings were held during the months of January-September 2023, by the SME development centers of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMB) for entrepreneurs intending to start a business, and startups to acquire business knowledge and increase their existing knowledge. Trainings covered business start-up, project management, financial management, sales, marketing, digital skills, "green economy" and other areas needed by SMEs. SME development centers provided consulting services during this period to 1266 entrepreneurs and people intending to start a business regarding access to sales channels, marketing, business planning, accounting, and legal issues.
In total, more than 9,500 SMEs, startups and people who want to start a business benefited from the free training and consulting services provided by KOBIA during the 9 months of 2023.
KOBIA provided support for free preparation of 424 business plans in agriculture, production, service and other directions.
420 entrepreneurs and people who want to start a business benefited from the online training videos on the video training platform of the agency free of charge.
During this period, 20 entrepreneurs and managers took a professional development course in Germany within the framework of the "Germany-Azerbaijani Joint Program to improve the skills of managers in the business community of Azerbaijan", coordinated by KOBIA, in order to gain international experience.
